Report Line: Report to Director (China)

The Role:
Maintains and enhances the organisation's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
A key cultural standard bearer in Haygrove China, deeply skilled in relationship building and management to ensure the team works together smoothly.

1. The standard bearer for Haygrove Culture; an example of humility, discipline, respect, and professional excellence for the team to learn from.
2. Identify and recruit new colleagues who not only bring the strongest possible skills to their position but also buy into our Haygrove culture of dynamism, flexibility and 3BL
3. Direct and monitor the placement process including all employee recruiting, promotions and transfers.
4. Improve team leadership and organizational effectiveness by coaching, supporting, consulting managers, middle managers and supervisors. By e.g. leading by example, by improving internal communication and managers visibility.
5. Build industry-leading HR processes around C&B, performance management and training by taking Haygrove best practice and adapting it to China.
6. Develop, coach, support and inspire human talent with their carrier planning and perspective.
7. Position the company as an attractive employer by promoting the company, by joining network activities, by improving labour market communication at Universities, etc.
8. Develop and maintain 3BL initiatives and programs, producing quarterly reports to keep staff motivated and informed of progress.
9. Measure HR effectiveness through benchmarking and metrics that are agreed by the business.
10.To negotiate within approved budgets with (potential) suppliers of products and/or services.

5-7 years of experience gained through increasingly responsible generalist positions, preferably in a manufacturing or hospitality environment.

1.Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources. Master’s degree preferred.
2.Chinese native speaker with fluent English skill.

We constantly innovate. We test our new products on our own farms commercially before supplying them to growers of over 30 crops in over 50 countries. Our Growing Systems consist of polytunnels, substrate systems, crop support systems and coir.
