JD Finance Group started independent operations in 2013 and is slated to play a key role in JD’s expansion strategy going forward. Building on a commitment to high quality value-added services and superior customer experience, the goal of JD Finance is to serve the financial needs of the JD ecosystem. Leveraging fintech innovation, five divisions have been created to support this initiative—supply chain finance, consumer finance, crowd-funding, wealth management and payments. JD Daojiais the key strategic O2O (online-to-offline) service platform of JD Group. Current delivery times are 2 hours for items within a 3 km radius of a customer. Services currently offered cover fresh foods, grocery items, restaurant take-out and flower deliveries; services in the pipeline include beauty massages, cleaning services, baby products, bakery deliveries etc. 4. Paipai.com was acquired from Tencent in 2014 and is the leading mobile social e-commerce platform in China. Paipai.com reduces operating costs of vendors and provides brand-new shopping experience for the customers. Using target advertising and collaborative e-commerce tools, PaiPai helps companies increase customer engagement through CRM while providing customers a technology enabled mobile social shopping experience. 5. JD’s International Business Group is responsible for developing JD’s globalization strategy, by identifying new markets and requirements to enter these markets successfully, focusing on localization while leveraging JD’s global scale. 6. JD SMART is a subsidiary company founded by JD Group for the purposes of expanding JD’s presence in the IOT (Internet of Things) field. JD SMART’s ecosystem is called “JD ”.
